Pink is the new black

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the colour of the millennial generation; PINK.

If you have not seen this colour floating around then, quite frankly, you must be living under a rock. This pink hue has not only made it’s way through high fashion, but also into all of our lives (and behind many green cacti). All of a sudden, I have developed a strong urge to paint all my walls pink and buy a fridge to match them, just after I purchase some new Nikes in ‘dusted rose’ and buy every Mac lipstick in nude. This colour brings a whole new meaning to living life through rose coloured glasses. I’m not too sure if it’s the pleasant memory of a soft ‘ballet pink’ from when I was younger, or if it’s style inspiration from Jay Gatsby. Either way, I kind of love it.
